I read this today and came away with some interesting leadership thoughts.
- People flock to those who are real and passionate about what they believe (v. 1)
- Those in authority have authority so listen when they speak (v. 2)
- But authority does not equal leadership if there is no respect or exemplification (v. 3)
- Passing all the burden and responsibilities onto others will not keep your hands clean (v. 4)
- Anything done to build pride is done for the wrong reasons (v. 5)
- Glory does not come from associations (v. 6)
- Following all the rules can be more destructive than disobeying them (v. 7)
- There is always more to learn and that levels the playing field (v. 8)
- Pursue the higher calling of your daily work (v. 9)
- There is only one way that is best (v. 10)
- Never think you are above anyone else (v. 11)
- Humility is the path to glory (v. 12)
