Though I think the readers on the Bible Experience are really fantastic, I've never been a big fan of the TNIV either. I dont encourage reading it because it's "gender friendly" Had to do word studies on it at Southwestern Seminary in Fort Worth, and it has a lot that is really off base. Not trying to say "hey STOP!!!" just didn't know if you knew that or not. I feel like i'm supposed to submit this, even though as I read it I feel like a jerk, hope you dont take it that way. As someone who also strives to be a biblical scholar I am just trying to inform, not demean. Just wondering if you know much about the TNIV?
