I read this today and came away with some interesting leadership thoughts.

1. People flock to those who are real and passionate about what they believe (v. 1)
2. Those in authority have authority so listen when they speak (v. 2)
3. But authority does not equal leadership if there is no respect or exemplification (v. 3)
4. Passing all the burden and responsibilities onto others will not keep your hands clean (v. 4)
5. Anything done to build pride is done for the wrong reasons (v. 5)
6. Glory does not come from associations (v. 6)
7. Following all the rules can be more destructive than disobeying them (v. 7)
8. There is always more to learn and that levels the playing field (v. 8)
9. Pursue the higher calling of your daily work (v. 9)
10. There is only one way that is best (v. 10)
11. Never think you are above anyone else (v. 11)
12. Humility is the path to glory (v. 12)
