I’ll go into further detail on each area later in the week but I think you’ll get the gist from a simple list (plus it saves you time now and hopefully brings you back to read more later.

Music: as a worship leader, singer/songwriter, and a former educator, I have a passion for helping people be better worshippers.

Production: pretty much anything having to do with audio, video, and lighting plus graphic design, dramatic arts, set design etc.

Training: it is one thing to know a lot about stuff. It is quite another to be able to train people how to do it or use it.

Creative Solutions: it is like having a grab bag of good ideas and great systems to pull them off.

Evaluation: an outside eye with a video camera can help put a whole lot things into perspective.

S.O.S stands for Standard Operating Securities (which is really supposed to be like Standard Operating Protocal but I thought the whole S.O.S. thing was more fun). This is a set of three questions that have to be asked before either party should commit to try and work together.

Can You Be Helped? This is the most important question and is why it comes first. Change fuels moemetum and if you are so set in your ways that no radical deviance from what your already doing is concievable, there is no reason to go any further. We offer a simple 10 question survey that helps determine whether or not you are prepared to make the necessary steps forward.

Can WGC Help You? The professional and expert services we can offer cover a wide gamut of needs, but there are some circumstances where churches and/or organizations may require services WGC can’t effectively deliver. Maybe that is because your needs are too specialized or maybe your needs are beyond what we know how to do. Either way, with our network and professional connections, we can at least point you in the right direction instead of realizing way too late it was a bad idea.

How Much Help? Once we know you can be helped and we can help you, the only thing left to do is figure out exactly how much help you need. And that is where our service packages and specialities come in.

I’ll layout exactly what we’re offering over the next couple of days.

Anybody can take a list of to-dos and knock them out overtime. But once that list has run its course, you’re going to just need a new list. Knowing what to do is completely necessary but it will eventually lead to the “now what” road block. Skills sort of work the same way. Having the giftedness to know how to do something is good until you’re faced with something you don’t know how to do.

I like to classify the “what” and the “how” as practices or the actual application of an idea. But where does the idea being applied come from? That’s right…principles – the foundational truth for a fully functional and healthy system. Principles are the whys that define and give direction to the whats and the hows. Once you know WHY you should be doing something, you either figure out WHAT to do and find someone who knows HOW to do it even if that means it is not you. The whys drive the expected outcome.

WGC specializes in defining principles and helping leaders put them into practice. I want to help build the Kingdom by pouring my knowledge and experience into the lives of leaders and volunteers who can help take their church or organization to the next level. It frustrates me to know end to witness unused potential, wrong equipment purchased, poorly trained or motivated volunteers, more money spent than necessary, and all because they don’t know any better.

I can help. I want to help. I want to see the churches and organizations God is calling people to all over the country become what they can be.

There are several conferences, classes, books, etc., etc., etc., available for church leaders looking to start fresh or add momentum. But as we all know, reading a book or sitting through a conference can only go so far in being applied to the reality of your church’s situation.

Same goes for that “expert” advice your getting from the company your purchasing sound and video equipment from. They have been doing it a long time and know a lot about the technology out there so why in the world would you not trust their opinion, right? That would be true if they offered to sell you ONLY the equipment you actually needed at eBay prices and didn’t upcharge for stuff they don’t get dealer rates on.

That is where WGC steps in. With the ability to offer unbiased, professional, money saving guidance as well as hands-on, expert, one-on-one training in almost every area of interest, it can be an invaluable resource that brings the knowledge and expertise to your door and unique environment. Even though most of the specialties are centered around worship, media, programming, and host teams the principles found in the patent pending Pyramid Practices™ can be applied to every level of leadership.

What are the Pyramid Practices™? Ahhh…that my friend is a secret ingredient (thus the logo design)!!! Have questions…email me.
