We begin a new series this week at Oak Leaf Canton that will take us to Easter on April 24. I’m still figuring out the whole preparing messages and series stuff but I’m pretty excited about taking a look at some radical people from the Bible that made huge sacrifices in order to bring about God’s will. We’ll look at Abraham, Ezekiel, David, Hosea, the good Samaritan, and of course…Jesus.

We love our teachers. We’re always looking for ways to bless them. There is always the typical load in of chick-fil-a biscuits. Of course, we’ve toted our party trailer and bounce house all over Cherokee county. We participate and serve at just about anything the PTAs have going on. But sometimes it’s not enough for us.  We want to serve as much as we can in the community so we try to come up with lots of fun new ways ...

I don’t have a lot of New Year resolutions. But I have set some intense goals for myself as a pastor that have carried over into the new year. The biggest one is reading. There was quite the snow and ice storm on Christmas this year. Beautiful to look at…not so great to drive in. Churches were closing for services left and right so our staff started discussing what we should do.
