The Brick Testament: Bible in Lego
        Posted by: willgoodwin  in Uncategorized

I’ve been reading through the Bible with Ean but there are some parts we have to skip over either because they are a little over his head or not exactly the most entertaining passage. Then I came across this. Wish they would cover everything, but it is pretty impressive as is. Maybe they’ll keep adding more.

Do you have a favorite way to read the Bible to your little ones?

Fountain of Truth: Islam
        Posted by: willgoodwin  in Uncategorized

Wondering why I haven’t posted again for an extended period? If you were at church, you might have seen a clue. For the past two weeks, I’ve been setting up and working on some new intellignet lights we bought for the house of rock with enough to spare for the movie theatre campus. Since I’m not an LD, I’ve had to learn how to run lights from the ground up. It has been fun, but also extrememly time consuming. Anyway…we launched the new lights this past sunday to little fanfare, but I assure you the changes made to make it all happen will forever change how Oak Leaf does services/campuses. I’ll post more about what all i’ve learned in the process soon.

Other than that, Michael presented some informative info about the Islamic faith and several people took home our “Next Step” packets. And the Falcons won.

Here was the set:

  1. All Because of Jesus (Fee)
  2. Awesome Is The Lord Most High (Tomlin)
  3. Jesus Saves (Tim Hughes song no one else is doing)

Foutain of Truth: Catholicism
        Posted by: willgoodwin  in Uncategorized

I am so proud of my volunteer teams. They are so dedicated and great at what they do. I look at other churches who are running what we are running and they have multiple saff people to handle all the responsibilities and here we are a two year old church being carried by committed, passionate, and capable volunteers. It is such a joy to work with them every week. The best part is, the more they shine and show the love of Christ by their attitudes and servant leadership, the more people want to jump in and get involved as well.

Here is the set:

  • Creed (Third Day’s version of Rich Mullins’ tune)
  • All Because of Jesus (NP Live version)
  • Jesus Paid It All (Passion version)
  • Jesus Saves (Moody version)
