We are starting the year off with a series on spiritual disciplines. I mean, what better time to talk about all the things we SHOULD be doing to draw closer to God than when everyone is making their lists of things they want to do better. We will be covering five habits that are guaranteed to lead to a better you.

• SERVE – Whether volunteering at church or helping someone in the community, serving others is not only rewarding but also a Biblical mandate.
• LIVE – Our lives should reflect Jesus and we should be unashamed about proclaiming our faith to the world.
• PRAY – It works. But we don’t do it enough. Praying more consistently builds faith and trust in God’s work in our lives.
• GIVE – We are never more like Jesus than when we give. Sacrifices of time, talents, and treasures bring eternal rewards.
• READ – The answers to life’s biggest questions are at our disposal if we will just pick up the Bible and read.
