We want to take the Bible seriously. After discussing core foundational truths in our Doctrine series at the end of the year and wrapping up our spiritual disciplines series on 5 habits we can put into place that will lead to real peace, love, and happiness, the most logical step for us was to challenge everyone to read their Bible.

Elevation Church did this series a while back and we think it is an excellent kick start to encourage our people to be intentional about studying God’s Word. So we stole it…with permission. :)

It all starts this Sunday, February 13th, and will run until Sunday March 13th. Here it is at a glance:

Feb 13 – The Love of God (the Gospels)
Feb 20 – Faith is the Key (Acts)
Feb 27 – God Has Got Your Back (Pauline Epistles)
Mar 6 – Grace is Sufficient (Other Epistles)
Mar 13 – Heaven and Hell (Revelation)

We’ll be passing out bookmarks outlining a reading plan, have a super basic website setup just in case you lose your bookmark, and hope to see lots of stories shared on The City.

This is going to be an exciting and challenging next 30 days. Are you ready?
