Clues You’re Not Leading

Posted by:

As I work hard to become a better leader to myself, family, and people I work with, I’m reading a lot or articles, books, and blogs on wht others say are teh right way to lead. I came across this list from a post by Jon Ferguson and thought I’d share it with you (parentheses mine).

You know you are not leading when . . .

  • You wait for someone to tell you what to do rather than taking the ...

40 Day Blog Fast Finally Over

Posted by:

I didn’t announce it and didn’t really talk about it, but the few readers i have may have noticed I haven’t written anything in a very long time. Why? I decided after several stressful weeks in a row that i needed to get a bit more organized and needed to cut out things that were not absolutely necessary. Blogging was on the top of that list.

Unfortunately for me, I picked a pretty bad time to take a blogging break. Between ...

The Healer Song

Posted by:

Everybody and their mother is writing about how disappointed they are in the Australian who lied about having terminal cancer to add a little more emotional flavor to his song “Healer.” We did this song two weeks ago and we are doing it again this Sunday so I thought I would throw my half a cent into the mix.

OLC Sunday Report

Posted by:

We’ve also noticed a bit more cultural diversity in our seats. I don’t know how much of that has to do with the guys we’ve been playing flag football with on Sunday nights or not but it sure is ...

School of Worship 08

Posted by:

Last night we kicked off the second annual SOW with an acoustic concert from Matt Papa, some Q&A with Billy Foote, Chris Orr, Jake Gutledge and I, a little old school medley sing along, and some pizza. Not your typical opening session but it worked great.  Today was jammed packed with 60+ breakout options from some really, really great teachers and one main session led ...

Tech Tuesday: Next Best Thing to Custom Headphone Molds?

Posted by:

For those who can’t (or don’t won’t to) break out the cash to get some custom Westone molds, could JVC’s new in-IN-ear headphones just be the toy you need. They claim serious isolation, better sound quality, and little to no sound leakage since it is so deep in the ear canal.

They are hitting in Japan first but for $38 a pair, should I make ...
